The Stratford Residences is a high-rise residential development located at Picar Place along Kalayaan Avenue, Barangay Poblacion, Makati City. Originally envisioned as a 74-storey tower, it was designed to be one of the tallest residential buildings in the Philippines. The project is developed by Picar Development, Inc., the real estate arm of the AMA Group of Companies. The tower’s signature accordion-shaped façade, designed by Jose Pedro C. Recio of Rchitects, Inc., won design recognition from BCI Asia for its innovative approach to maximizing natural light and airflow. Structural engineering is attributed to Sy + Associates, Inc. and R.S. Ison & Associates, ensuring world-class resilience and safety standards. The building was planned to host more than 1,100 fully furnished units ranging from studios to penthouses, complemented by extensive amenities such as landscaped areas, swimming pools, a gym, function rooms, and lifestyle facilities. With its location in Makati’s central district, Stratford offers direct access to premier malls, offices, healthcare, and entertainment hubs.
