Makati City is  the financial center of the Philippines with the highest concentration of financial institutions--local and global banks, insurance companies, and auditing firms. Ayala Avenue, right at the heart of the central business district and dubbed as its very own "Wall Street", which stretches from Edsa Ayala to Gil Puyat is where most of the Premium and Grade A offices are concentrated. Aside from the central business district, Makati also has other sub districts that are mostly privately developed and which are usually mixed use of residential, commercial, and office.
